The Opportunity
Thrive Health is looking for a DevOps & IT Specialist to join our team. You will play a dual role in building high quality cloud computing infrastructure and managing internal IT operations. Partnering with the product development team, you will streamline and automate our SaaS applications (deployment, monitoring, provisioning), using infrastructure as code, to support our frequent release cycle. You will also ensure seamless day-to-day IT operations by managing all aspects of internal IT, including user access, endpoint management, and troubleshooting to maintain system security and reliability.
Responsibilities
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
- Build out environments and streamline deployments to AWS with containers;
- Build and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) tools and processes;
- Provide operational support and guidance to other engineers to ensure production-ready code;
- Manage application logging and monitoring infrastructure;
- Monitor and maintain owned service environments to keep within SLA guidelines;
Internal IT Operations & Security
- Provision and manage user access across internal systems and third-party SaaS platforms through;
- Administer Mosyle MDM and ABM for company-issued devices; manage endpoint security configurations, software deployments, and compliance policies across devices; coordinate device provisioning and retirement
- Manage internal IT infrastructure including VPNs, SSO configurations, and authentication systems; coordinate with vendors for license management and technical escalations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer role (or equivalent);
- Proficiency with the Amazon AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, RDS, ALB, ECS, KMS, IAM, Lambda, Code Build, Code Deploy, Route53, CloudTrail, etc);
- Familiarity with building and deploying Docker containers, especially with ECS, Kubernetes, or Swarm;
- Experience managing infrastructure with terraform or Cloud Formation;
- Familiarity with cloud computing best practices;
- Significant Linux experience (any of RHEL/Amazon/Ubuntu);
- Proficiency with a scripting language (Python/Ruby);
- Experience with Google Workspace administration
- Familiarity with Mosyle MDM and Apple Business Manager

Salary Information: The base salary range for this role is $94,000–100,000/year. The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
