John drives enterprise integrations at Thrive, designing and architecting solutions to enable enterprise-sized applications to communicate with each other and securely exchange data. He focuses on connecting and streamlining data systems to improve end-user experience, continuing to enhance our platform’s technical maturity for the patient journey.

John has 20+ years of experience in IT and business leadership, leading the portfolios for Digital Health and Health Information Exchange at LifeLabs, and holding various senior positions with organizations such as Northern Health - BC, TELUS, and ICBC. He specializes in enterprise frameworks for Transformation, Cloud services, IaaS, SaaS, e-Service, DevOps, Agile & Digital Health.

John holds a BSc in Business Information Technology from the University of Twente in Holland, an ITIL v.3 Foundation certification, and a PRINCE2 certification. In his downtime from integrations, he loves to spend as much time as possible by the mountains and water, be that enjoying a game of golf or traveling to a new destination.
